I love this thinlit from Stampin’ Up!. It’s so versatile even thought tonight I am featuring it in a Halloween canvas today.
Today I kick of “GATE WEEK” – a fun week of samples and short video tutorials for some of those samples all featuring the Detailed Gate Thinlit.
In addition I will be giving away one set of Detailed Gate Thinlit Dies as Blog Candy at the end!
Keep ready and check out the first sample:
This is a 4″ x 4″ white canvas from Hobby Lobby. I first die cut the gate from thick whisper white cardstock, then after adding a few drops of smoky slate reinker to embossing paste I used the die cut image as a stencil and stenciled the gate on the canvas. After it dried I then added the whisper white image I had used as a stencil over top. The additional images are the cat punch, pick a pumpkin bundle & spooky cat stamp set.
Make sure to check back daily for the next 7 days as I add more Gate projects many with mini video tutorials.
While you wait for the new posts check out this post HERE with two fun alternative samples.
And here is a video with some tips for using the Detailed Gate Thinlits:
