I wanted to share with you today how I have scrapbook pages displayed at Craft World. 12×12 Pages can be hard to display and I am such a visual person and I wanted guests coming to crops and scrapbook classes at Craft World to be inspired visually too!
I am lucky to have one large wall on one side of Craft World. My hubby hung curtain rods for me that I spaced for 12×12 pages and I simply bought inexpensive curtain hooks with clips on them.
The only downside is the clips leave marks on the page protectors so you need to have a set of page protectors just for display.
The added bonus for me is that I can look up and see happy memories, see my kids and just stop for a moment and remember and smile.
*Note you could easily use a similar system for cards, other size projects or crafts. I have hung other things from time to time from these bars – banners and such!
Join me for a scrapbooking event at Craft World anytime!
This is a great idea. Awesome way to fill an empty wall.
TFS.

AWESOME, fun display! Thanks for sharing! I use card trees (each on a lazy susan) to display my cards, and each of the “branches” has clips that will mark the cards. Because I want to use the cards, I punch a bunch of pieces of card stock in a shape that I fold in half and put over the edge of the card. Then, the little bite marks from the clips are in that piece of card stock. You can punch a bunch and score them in half and leave them in a little cup by your display (or hanging from it) so you can just grab what you need, or toss extras in there to use for later when you take down a card. I like using the Curly Label punch, and Crumb Cake card stock, but you could use something smaller like the Postage Stamp punch, or the Small Oval, or even the Modern Label punch, depending on how deep into your project you need the protection to go, and how much or little of the punched piece you prefer seeing.
Also, just an FYI: Joann dot com is having a 60% off Online sale in their Drapery Hardware category from June 10th-16th 2012, including the clips (or similar ones) this blog post is featuring…!
