Between an empty nest, living in the country and a husband who travels we finally decided to expand our family by adding a puppy to our lives. I am so excited that we finally found what we have been looking for – a beautiful German Shorthair Pointer. He was born 11/18/2011 and we will be able to bring him home around January 13th. I can’t wait.
My husband has been teasing me that I want a puppy and scrapbook material and he wants dog! I told him the dog has to start as a puppy and yes I am really looking forward to the inspiration the puppy will bring. Here is the proof. We got to meet him on Monday night and although the lighting was bad I did manage to get a few decent photos. He is one of 7 litter mates and oh so sweet.
We named him Teague after Chincoteague/Assateague Virginia – one of our favorite places. Our last 2 dogs were Whidbey (after Whidbey Island where Doug proposed to me) and Rainer after Mt. Rainier. So we continued our tradition of naming our dogs after important places in our life.
Here is Teagues first scrapbook page and I am positive he will be the inspiration for many more.
Make sure you make plans to attend a customer event or team event here at Craft World (my house) so I can introduce you to our newest family member.

Wow, he’s a handsome pup but look at the size of his paws!! He’s gonna be a BIG dog. Gorgeous and so much fun though.
He has an incredible sweet face! I think your tradition is awesome. Congrats on your new addition =)
