So how did she do in the contest? Well she earned some scholarship money which was her goal! She got to honor her long time French Horn teacher Beth Lucas and she got to feel oh so loved as she was surrounded by tons of family and friends on the big night.

I used MDS to create some of my embellishments and for all the journaling.

Just like at the Oscars – she got to change clothes 4x that day!

This was not planned – Our High School is the Rockets and we were blessed to have 3 young ladies selected to be a part of the program. Our school color is close to Pacific Point Blue – but the girls did not shop together, did not plan this and did not choose a dress just to wear Rocket Blue. I knew I saved this particular retired stamp set for a reason. Still lots of Rocket fun to scrapbook. Way to go Spring Grove Rockets!

The Big Night – it’s hard to see but the edges of these pages are stamped and embossed with the large stamp from Bliss – just the right touch.

Our Girl 

Family & Friends – the journaling refers to the group that Kristin and Greg hung out with (Kristin since 6th grade) that we affectionaley dubbed the geek squad. As the journaling states it was fun to see the boys (The group is like 8 boys and 2 girls) react to Kristin being all “girlie”. They were used to her in lab goggles and marching band uniforms. Wish they had stuck around for a picture.

The event lasted all night as Kristin hosted her friends for a junk food sleep over.

Lastly several memorabilia pockets hold all the special notes, ticket stubs, programs and things we want to keep and remember.
