Altering Stampin' UP! metal embellishment with Sharpie Paint Markers

So I love office supplies stores. I am always wondering the aisle for the perfect organization tool, or awesome new pen or something I can alter with Stampin’ Up! product.
On a recent trip to Staples our closest office supply store I spied these Paint Pens by Sharpie and after reading the packaging I realized that instead of something Stampin’ UP! product could alter these could do the altering of Stampin’ uP! product.

I came home and put them to the test and sure enough – fun fun fun. Check it out:
