I altered my framed art (All Hearts Come Home – featured here along with Video tutorial), printed it on textured cardstock and hot glued it to my Christmas album. The edges are nice and secure and it slides easily on and off my shelf. I think this cover will make it stand out on our coffee table this holiday season.

I have found that creating “theme” albums actually helps me and the family go back and view the albums. I have been slowly gathering our Christmas photos into one album and place it out on the coffee table at Christmas. It’s that time of year you want to look back on holidays past so it just makes sense to me to have all my photos from just Christmas in one album.  I have done the same with our annual trip to Chincoteague. iI’s fun to grab this album (s) and take it along and to sit and share stories and memories. With all the photos from one recurring event, holiday in one place you have less to pull out, put away, and the changes are more apparent and lastly having all the photos from one event, holiday in one place makes it “quicker” to look at them. Just one album to thumb through instead of 5,10 or more.

CANVAS & TEXTURE -these packages of 8.5 x 11 Cardstock weight canvas and textured paper designed to be used in printers are my new LOVE. You have heard me reference them a few times. Check your local craft store or online for sources.  I have an epson printer and these come out looking so professional. They are worth every penny! Great use of those 40% off coupons!!
