I chose this set from the catalog which is not my usual style because our family Christmas present this year is a trip to Finland next year.
Starting December 2003 my husband and I decided to stop giving traditional gifts and started focusing on the gifts of experiences. Some as a family, some individually.
Our family has loved the switch especially when the whole family enjoys the experience together and gives us a collective memory to talk about weeks, months and years laters. Trips, concerts, broadway shows, cooking classes, fishing excurusions, holiday tea, very special meals and more have all been a part of our experiences since then.
In honor our family chosen trip to Finland I found a few “finnish” themed stocking stuffers just for fun on Christmas day and the Brave Vikings proved perfect for tags as I know they will also be for cards I like to leave with tips when I travel and post trip scrapbooking.
