Thank you for stopping by our Blog Hop focusing on pink projects in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t know someone who hasn’t personally battled breast cancer. While my family has been personally spared so many friends and their families has not.
The lastest statistics on Breast Cancer I could find from the Breast Cancer Organization says that:
- In 2018, an estimated 266,120 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 63,960 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.

And the Breast Cancer Organization reminds us that not just women are susceptible to breash cancer
- In 2018, an estimated 266,120 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 63,960 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
I hope that the stories shaed on our on blog hop inspire, that our projects inspire and that you personally conduct breast exams and undergo as availabe annual mammograms.
My two project feature fun “pinks” from Stampin’ UP! and the ribbon from the Ribbon of Courage framelits that can easily be adapted to so many causes we support by simply changing the color.
The “shine” on this card was achieved by brushing shimmer paint over the ribbon and raised swirls.
My second project features the Buffalo plaid background stamp and silver foil edged note cards – two of my favorite projects.
