Happy Day #11 of our 14 days of Valentines Idea.
Today we are featuring a fun idea for gift cards. Gift cards are always a perfect gift but can be boring to open.
So this packing creates that fun experience of opening a gift.

Before we look at the project let’s congratulate day #10 winner – Lucy Schmidt
Remember that you too can be a Winner through February 14th.
To be today’s winner simply comment on Today’s post and check back tomorrow.

Now let’s take a look at our Copper Valentine.
This card was inspired by several things
1. The new basket weave dynamic embossing folder
2. The series on my facebook love for embossing techniques
3. Our blog hop tonight that is themed “MIX & MATCH” where we mix and match products from the Annual Catalog, Spring Catalog and or Sale-a-bration brochure.

For this card (Actual video will be added to blog hop post tomorrow) the embossing folder was inked with versamark prior to being passed through the Big Shot, then the cardstock was embossing with copper embossing powder.

The copper theme was carried through with copper foil die cuts, copper embossed flower and copper embossed greating. .
Subtle contrast was provided with the use of cardstock vellum.

Enjoy and make sure to leave a comment for your chance to be a winner and to stop by our blog hop tonight.
