A gift of bubbly or fine wine is always a welcome gift during the holidays. For day #6 of my 7 days of gate ideas I am featuring two bottle tags that give you a chance to use the bits & pieces you end up with when you either cut up the Detailed gate framelits or have one that doesn’t quite cut right.
I think the detailed gate adds a fun textural element to projects.
Check out the video for a reminder of some tips for using the Detailed Gate as well as a tip for making the wine glass shiny.
The Tag I created uses thick whisper white cardstock and measure 8.5″ x 2.5″ and is scored at the 3″ point. Then punched to slip over the neck of the bottle.
This fun tag uses the set Half Full from the Holiday Catalog. I’ve been itching to ink it up and am so excited I did.
The glass is made shiny with fine tip glue.
