I love flea markets, antique stores, junk shoppes and what I call “treasure” hunting. How much more fun when some of what you are hunting for are tax deductible business expenses because you are using them for displays of products!

Yesterday was a treasure hunting day and I always have two things with me when I treasure hunt, a measuring tape and a full size card.

I use the card to help me see if it will fit and or look good as you can see in this picture of a card being tested in a vintage box yesterday or against an old rusty grate to see if it might work for photo backdrops.

In addition it’s fun digging for items to repurpose and use with our products. We came across a booth filled with all kinds of wooden bobbins, knobs and such. Can’t wait to implement the ideas this digging inspired.

The last stop of the very long full day yielded this find – a vintage Pepsi bottle box with four sections. Perfect for showcasing 4 cards. Might just have to start a new series – One stamp 4 ways!  While I am not a pepsi fan and actually gave us soda many years ago I fell for the mustard yellow on the box. I am probably the biggest fan of Delightful Dijon out there!

The box is showcasing 4 sweet Valentine cards I received in a swap.. Valentines will be here in just a few short days!
