I love the look of tone on tone and especially when it’s whites or other neutrals. Probably why I am drawn to shabby chic and chippy things. And also probably why I love snow. I know kinda weird. But I love the look of snow and the quietness of snow and the fresh feel of snow. I also love how all the other colors of the sky, clouds, trees and things pop against the snow.

Here in Pennsylvania our winter isn’t quite over yet as we awoke to a beautiful dusting of snow. This was the view from my kitchen window this morning. I never get tired of it, no matter the season. But this morning it reminded me of powdered sugar.

I have a series of three winter white cards to share with you starting first with one I need to get in the  mail today. Stampin’ UP! has lots of amazing products to create beautiful All white cards. Think outside the box – all white doesn’t just have to be weddings or confirmation. My first of the 3 is a Get Well Card.

I pulled some paper from my stash I hadn’t worked with in a while – the Color Me irresistable Designer paper. This paper has a raised print that resists ink and is easily altered with sponging, spritzing and more. For this project though it was perfect just as it comes – white one white!
