Now that we have an empty nest we are starting the process of touching up our 20yr old home. We are not talking major remodeling simply redesignating a room’s use and painting walls, changing flooring, and things you do when a room gets a make over. We just started and already I am not sure how some people live in a house with major remodeling happening. Where to go with all the “stuff” from the room you are emptying as you assign it a new use and prepare it for that is driving me nuts. I am not a total neat freak but am sure feeling pretty messy as I look at rooms crowded with contents awaiting a new assignment.
I have decided to use Project Life to document the process to make it more fun, to give me a great reason to use project life and because it will give me a visual progress check of the great results making the mess worth it!
First room up is our formal dining room that has been used as my home office that will now be a home gym. It’s got these amazing big windows with beautiful views that will be great to visually distract us while we work out. It’s also on the first floor – no more dingy basement.
It’s “this close” to being done. Here is the work in progress. The Work of art stamp set if perfect with it’s paint swishes and the Stampin’ UP! colors are perfect because I used them to pick the paint!
