I first posted this on February 24th, 2010 and my philosophy is stronger than ever – Happy CASE’ing
Here is my philosophy – policy – GO FOR IT.
1. If you chose to use my artwork for a contest or challenge – congratulations for being motivated to enter and I hope you win.
2. If you chose to use my ideas to help you earn an income than I am grateful I was able to help you meet your needs.
3. Whether you choose to copy exactly, tweak, modify, whatever – GO FOR IT.
4. Whether you chose to post it on your own blog, etc GO FOR IT.
5. When I post artwork that is not mine ( a teammate, a swap – you will need to contact that person for their permission – you will know when it’s not mine).
6. If you choose to credit me or link to me when using my ideas thank you. You do not need to ask me for permission however.
7. If you have a great twist, variation, improvement I love seeing what you do with what I post so feel free to share with me at any time – in**@re****************.com
I only have two requets
1. When you enter or use artwork for something that requires it be your “original” that you follow that request. Your heart will guide you.
2. Please do not copy whole blog posts – take the time to add your own personality to what you are putting on social media (blogs, twitter, facebook, pinteret, etc).
I wouldn’t put a sample or idea here if I didn’t want to share.
This blog is for sharing creativity and what I love.
TEAM – Together Each Achieves More – I hope we are on the same team.
In parting let me share with you the RemARKable Stampers team verse:
“Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one…” Eccl. 4:9
So GO FOR IT – happy creating.
Blessings JANET
You are an inspiration and an incredibly generous person!
thank you
Hi Jan! I just had to come and tell you how wonderful I think you are! I am happy to be a team member of yours and think you are terrific! What a great attitude you have in letting others CASE your beautiful work. I’m happy to know you!
Thank you – wished you lived closer. Will have to way to do a RemARKable On the GO event in your area.
Beautifully said, thank you for your great leadership and inspiration. My philosophy is very similar but, I’ve never put it down on ink and paper; I love it! I think that casing is the greatest flattery to my work. I’m a demo and recently started following your blog and I’m inspire by you and your work every time I visit. Thank you!!!! Now I’m on my way to write mine!
Thank you
Hello Janet. I just had to give you a “shout out” for this post. Very sweet and giving of you and I just want to say “thank you” for just having such a giving heart. I receive your posts every day and although I don’t get to them every day to read I eventually get caught up and the fact that you always have something to say and share is pretty amazing. You practice the motto of SU and to that I am thankful. Thanks for seeing such a great example to all the other demos.
thank you!
Beautifully said! Isn’t that what creativity is all about! Thank you so much for all your sharing and caring it is truly appreciated by a great number of us!
Thank you!
Thank you for this post! I LOVE to share my work and inspire others! I am flattered every time someone cases my work in whole or part! I have however struggled with people who have photographed my work, (without re-creating it themselves) and not mentioning that the work was not something they themselves put the work into creating, but rather a photo of my work. There is a HUGE difference between CASEing someones work, and stealing it! Copying someones work and re-creating it is different than just taking a picture of someone’s work. You did a positively awesome job on showing the difference. Thank you!
thank you
This is INCREDIBLE. Why a special person you are with a generous and giving heart. Thank you for sharing.

Janet you’re truly inspiring in all you do. Your philosophy of sharing is generous and heart warming and I wish it was something everyone followed. Although it’s rare for me to totally copy someone else’s work, i like to put my own spin on an idea, I always credit by linking the original post or referencing where the idea came from and the person who created the original (if I know).
Thank you for your sweet note.
Love this!
thank you
