I am excited for our 2nd Pinworthy Blog tour. Hopefully as you visit the blogs on the tour you will lots of ideas to add to your pinterest boards. This month our focus is on banners and garlands.
I find that paper crafts are one of the easiest ways to cost effectively add glamour, value and personalization to parties, celebrations, special occasions.
Today I am using banner panels from Stampin’ UP!’s Celebration Basics kit to create something I am calling Banner Pockets. Here is a very short tutorial:
For this pocket I have hot glued chocolate to wooden skewers and placed them in the pocket – who would’t love to find chocolate hanging on the back of their chair?
Other ideas for filling the pockets – flowers, potpourri, candies, notes, flower petals, silverware (see below)

Oh my gosh those bags are awesome. I can think of so many things to do with them and I’m already thinking how cute they would be for Easter! I like the banner with the MRS better than the Starburst but that’s just me. Just love these ideas and can’t wait to see more!
