My idea for inserts-that I will be personally using is homeschool busy boxes. My older kids will be doing their work and I’m going to use these to make letter kits for my younger one
Oh My goodness Lynn what a great idea. Love busy boxes!
Thank you so much for this giveaway! What I would do is add some binder rings on the inside and create an inventory binder for my stamps or magnetic holder for my framlet dies:)
These are great ideas, Janet. There are so many options.
Another thought is to make monogrammed cards and decorate the insert with the recipients initial/name. I love the idea of card kits, too. You could put all the materials needed to make a card (cut cardstock, embellishments, adhesive, etc). The insert would be a photo of the finished card.
Thank you for the chance to win your color family inserts. I plan on storing my ink refills in these cases and could really use your inserts.
I keep most of my tools right on my stamping desk, so putting them away on a shelf wouldn’t work so well with my area, BUT, I would like to create an insert for Paper Pumpkin Tools, and use a full-size wood mount box. That way, when I get my Paper Pumpkin, I can just grab my tool box and go. I’m thinking of putting a SNAIL (+maybe a refill?), a Tombow liquid glue, a pair of Paper Snips, a Bone Folder, my clear block, and maybe a Stamp-a-ma-jig. I could even toss in a travel pack of baby wipes to clean my stamps with, and a folded up paper towel. I think that would be everything I could possibly need…maybe a mini lunch sack I could open up and use for trash, too. I’m think of total grab-and-go portability with Paper Pumpkin. Can you think of anything else I might add? Maybe a tiny clear ruler or t-square to measure and line things up with??
How about storing your Simply Press Clay and molds in?
Ops, just watched the video and you all ready have my ideas done, sorry about that.
Well, how about when you travel you could put your travel size toiletries in one? Or if you have little girls who like to wear things in their hair and your travel you could put all of their hair accessories in a box.
Great ideas for the cases Jan! I will be creating Back to School Kits for my grade level partners that will include teacher friendly gifts: post it notes, pen, highlighter, pencil, stickers for kids’ papers, drink packets for bottled water, tea bags, and of course a CHOCOLATE BAR!!! I am also thinking a Convention Survival Kit for my traveling friends and downline would be a great sendoff!! Thanks as always for sharing!
Kelli
I came up with 3: clear blocks, stampin’ spots from my paper pumpkin, and an emergency card holder (with finished cards inside).
I have my candy dots and the brads to stick them on in a case. Teacher survival kit for first day of school, family of markers are other ideas. Great video and ideas…look forward to hearing about all other ideas people come up with.
Love all these ideas, Janet! What about a convention survival kit? I think that’d be fun for dl going to convention this year.
My idea is a get well kit with a package of dry chicken noodle soup mix,a package of purse size tissues, a get well card for the patient and a few thank you note cards she can give out to those who help care for her while she is sick. Maybe even a few throat lozenges and a few Vitamin C tablets. You could also include a mini magazine like Guideposts or Reader’s Digest if space allowed to help pass the time if she was down in the bed. I would decorate the box with something bright and cheery.
Another idea: stampin’ write marker storage.
How about pearls & rhinestones or
distressing tools
Wood mount case suggestion: As the grandmother of a new grandson, I would use the larger size case for a diaper, sm pkg of baby wipes, and other small items needed for a small baby. For my older grandsons, I would put in DS game & disks, sm tablet, pens/pencils, sm magnetic games, etc. I loved your video and will be subscribing as I want to hear more of your ideas on managing your time and SU business. As a fairly new widow, I know the importance of not putting your SU business before spending time w/family and not feel guilty, and visa versa.
I think that the cases would make a good This and That box. Include washi tapes, some stickers, a snail, scissors, some cut up This and That DSP, the This and That stamp, a couple markers. Kind of a on the go This and That kit.
I think a first aid kit, that you can put in your car, using the big case. And then the half case make one for your purse to carry. I know when am out I always need a band-aid or your wet wipes. In the large case you could add allot more things in it.
Those boxes are great for making SU Demonstrator Workshop Kit which would hold pens, business cards, calculator, post it notes, pieces of gum and whatever things you always bring to a workshop.
Another idea that I’ve made is a box that holds my Card Ministry and SU items including my SU personal stamp, a 1×1 stamp pad, business cards, roll of stamps, post it notes, pen and a few cards with envelopes.
Here’s a sample using the small wood case boxes.
