Several years ago when Stampin’UP! did a major overhaul of our outdated color families and introduced our new in color family system they said we could expect a “color refresh” every 3-5 years. Well time flies and it’s time to freshen up our 4 core color families as we get ready to introduce 5 new incolors.
As part of the refresh Stampin’UP! is retiring some colors and bringing back some older in color favorites to replace them. Take a look
RETIRING COLORS
Sample I created with retiring Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery as the focus – anything related to retiring colors – buttons, designer paper, ribbon, cardstock, ink, reinkers, brads, etc are available while supplies last. If you have a favorite that is retiring time to hoard what you love by shopping HERE
For the small butterfly I folded a lacy doily in half and punched through that. I love the texture of the doily and the small layer flower was punched from our crepe paper – again fold in half to give the paper stability and to keep it from getting caught in the punch.
Very sweet sample….TFS!
Do you know where I could find a little chart that shows retired in colors vs. there replacement colors? I have some old colors and would like to purchase new ones of the same or close to the same colors. Thank you for your time and effort
Louise – I have never heard or seen such a chart but if you let me know specifically what colors you are wanting to replace I can do my best to help you.
