Every year the youth of the church hold a dessert auction as their major fundraiser. For the last couple of years I have donated the decorations for the event and we’ve had all kinds of fun themes. This year it was an Italian theme dinner and you would have thought oh that’s easy to decorate for. Actually I struggled both because I wanted to keep it simple this year and of course I always want to incorporate paper crafting.
MDS to the rescure – I love that you can use My Digital Studio for elaborate scrapbook pages and wall art or something as simple as a 3 color banner you see on one walland on the wooden dowels.
My one big “creative” stroke of genius was the auction paddles. I made 80 pizza slices using crumbcake, more mustard cardstock cut into triangles and punches for toppings.
Get your craft stash out of the drawers there is so much more than cards and scrapbook pages to create.
Great job – love the pizza slices!
Wonderful idea for the paddles…!!! I like to decorate for my husband’s Lions club’s crab feed…sure wish SU! could give us a crab stamp…..
Carol we do have a crab in the By the Seashore stamp set in the big catalog.
This is great! Would you mind telling me where you found the tablecloths? Thanks!
the table covers are just rolls of plastic covering from party city.
