This new Natural Composition Specialty Paper is to die for. I love it. While it’s not acid free I still chose to use on this scrapbook page just not touching the photo.
This paper is perfect for altering. Spent some time yesterday experimenting with sponge different colors over it. Totally changes the look of the paper!
This page also uses another quickly becoming favorite Edgelit – the finishing touches edgelit – check out the left side of my border

This photo makes my heart smile. I was blessed to be at home in Washington for Mother’s day and after we left the restaurant we ate at, my nephews who were with us were dying to put the wooden boats they had made earlier that day at the Olympia Wooden Boat festival in the water. While my brother walked them down to the dock we stood in the restaurant parking lot watching them below us. My dad sweetly put his arm around my moms shoulder as they stood there watching. It was such a quiet everyday moment for them and I was so happy to be there and able to capture that moment.
