Today I left for Stampin’ UP!’s incentive trip to Disney World. While it will be hard leaving Teague again – he is in the capable hands of Kristin. And I know it will be easy to “suffer” through missing him while enjoying 6 amazing days at the Boardwalk hotel. The trip includes airfare for two, lodging, daily breakfasts and disney d ollars for dining. We are also being treated to a private screening of the new Monster’s Inc show and have the Stunt show at Hollywood Studios reserved for us along with a dinner at Hollywood Studios. And I know as usual there will be many surprises and goodies from Stampin’ UP! throughout the week. Check back as I blog about the Disney trip Stampin’ Style.
Today I decided to kick it off by sharing with you some fun pins that I made as gifts for RemARKable team members who achieved the trip and opted to attend. (Demonstrators who achieve trips may opt to take a cash payment in lieu of attending the event).
This pin is one of the many goodies from me in their fun day packs I put together. I will share the rest of the goodies as I blog the Disney Trip this week.
The red print from our new summer smooches fabric pack has earned a place in my heart as I used it to make fun bottle cap flower pins as gifts for Disney. Quick and easy.
TIPS FOR creating PIN – – –
1. Die cut assorted size circles from fabric
2. Lay fabric on paper towel – spray with spray starch
A. Roll up in paper towel and scrunch away
B. Set out to dry or microwave on high to dry faster!
3. Cut assorted circles from tulle, satin, taffetta of choice
A. Heat with heat tool to “shrivel”
4. Hot glue layers together offsetting so it has “personality”
5. Sew bottle cap to flower
A. I able to put 2 holes into the cap by placing it on the paper piecing foam mat and poking through it with the paper piercing tool.
6. Glue image into – I used free Disney clip art I found online and important to MDS to size the 1″ for punching
7. Hot glue pin back on
Crafting Disney Magical Joy

Very cute! Enjoy your trip!!! While Disney World is only a few miles from my house, I don’t get there as often as I would like anymore…
How adorable!! I love your “detailed” instructions, and the “personality” you captured in your pin. Too bad you forgot your black heels, as this would be perfect accessory to heels and dress. Maybe when you are done modeling it, there will be a sweet little girl (maybe with the name of “Erika”) that would be tickled pink if you gifted it to her as a surprise. That is one of my biggest problems, I make these all the time but never get to wear them because my older daughters and granddaughters “borrow” them and I never see them again. But I love gifting my creations — that’s why I’m with the company!! Have tons of fun Janet (I can’t wait to see your pictures).
