Doug’s cousin Rick hosts a redneck party every labor day – it has to be experienced to truly appreciate the fun we have down on the farm. Every year I have tried to make a redneck hostess gift, redneck decoration or redneck dessert. This year has to be one of my favorites (next to the live 22 ammo necklaces made using our rhinestone brads -that was a good year too!).

These glasses were inspired by teammate Connie Deibler – thanks!. They are made using stairway spindles cut into pieces (much cheaper this way) and assorted size mason jars. The duct tape seen on Doug’s glass is only needed if you don’t let the glue dry and really want a less sophisticated Red Neck Glass!!!

If you look at the photos you will see I used MDS to create labels for the lids. Gotta love a bee proof, spill proof topper for your wine glass when your enjoying your beverage outdoors!
