At our Retreat this weekend we are having a Stocking Contest and as the host I decided to make a few as well even though I can’t win I wanted to play and had some ideas in my head I just needed to create.
STOCKING SKATE – For this stocking I not only used the Holiday Stocking Die for Big Shot but I also used the Big Shot Stocking Accents Die -this fun die has just the right size elements for embellishing crafts and scrapbook pages.
I trimmed the stocking on the sides to make it look more boot like – here the skate is placed on top of a stocking -the gold underneath you see peaking out is what i trimmed off.
Furry Stocking – this fake fur is from the local craft store. You need to use a little fray check on the edges after trimming or it will keep shedding! This reminds me of little eskimo boots.
GLITZY STOCKING – this one really got jazzed up – a rosette, vintage tags, jingle bells, glimmer holly from the Stocking Accents die. The dsp is our Mocha Specialty Paper and Brushed Gold was used for the accents.
