I love, love, love this picture of my children but had been afraid to scrapbook it (even though I have a huge framed one on my wall) because I didn’t want to “ruin” the picture. Well I have a new toy that I am in love with my : Kodak Personal Photo and Negative Scanner.
Since I am so far behind on my scrapbooking I thankfully (yes thankfully) still have old school photos to scrap. Now I can quickly and easily scan them to a memory card that converts them to jpeg for storage and alteration (think quick and easy 5×7, 8×10 instead of all photos on a layout 4×6). This scanner is small and now is a permanent fixture at my workspace. I said thankfully because this technology didn’t exist years ago and had I been caught up my photos would all be stuck in books! (Now how’s that for another reason to be behind in your scrapbooking – I’m waiting for technology to catch up!).
See my “excuses” adding up:
Excuse #1 to be behind in your scrapbooking – Reminiscing as you scrap – helps ease the empty nest depression
Excuse #2 to be behind in your scrapbooking – Waiting for technology to catch up
Excuse #3 to be behind your scrapbooking – You don’t want your albums to look dated

I can see why you have a large framed picture on your wall — absolutely stunning page Janet!! Why do I say stunning? Well of course the picture is adorable, but your design has really made it the focus of the page and you had added “the” sentiment for the picture, and finally, just the right amount of accesories/stamped images (in the best colors) to enhance your picture and keeping it the main focus. I just totally love it!!
