Nothing screams summer and beach to me more than a new straw bag (Ok maybe new sandals too!). Something about them just make me happy. Here is my new 2010 summer beach bag. I made 2 interchangeable flowers to adorn the bag using dies from the big shot. I simply added a pin back to the flowers so that I could easily take them on and off the basket.
5 Pointed Star Flower – I used the 5 pointed star die to create this flower and the circles #2 die to create the center yo you.
Clear Circle Die and Circles #2 were used for this die – I wanted something big and floppy. I simply gathered the circle into a “petal” shape with a few loose running stitches by hand.
