This is my third year practicing the One Word Concept. The idea of picking one word to focus on for the year and using it to filter your decisions and actions.
For me my word is MINDFULNESS.
To help me with my ONE WORD I start a pinterest board where I can save articles, quotes, inspirational notes, tips and things to help keep me on track.
I also have been making a piece of art as a visual reminder. I am a very visual person and seeing something each day really helps me focus.
For my art piece this year I chose to use the digital versions of Stampin’ Up! Everyday project life cards and two great phone apps – Project Life App and Rhonna Design Apps.
If you haven’t used these apps you can check out this tutorial I did here
I created this entire image on my phone while driving home from our Christmas visit with our son. I then saved the image and printed from my computer as an 8.5 x 8.5 image and layered with Stampin’ UP! cardstock, ribbons and framed in a white 12×12 frame.
I love the bright happy colors and it now sits in my home office as a daily reminder that I will be able to add to a scrapbook at the end of the year.
