TRIVIA Questions -what are 2 amazing new features of the 2013-15 catalog – leave your answer as a comment. Anyone can play along.
(1) The colors names for the background of each project are listed. Love that!
(2) There are step-by-step instructions for techniques!
1. They now put the name of the background color of each project sample throughout the catalog.
2. They have all kinds of tutorials sprinkled throughout the book.
1.There are many squares mentioning the special “bundles”!
2.There are five techniques specific to the natural composition paper…many wondered what you can actually do with it last year!
I’m trying to find something different from what others are saying….
1) Links to video tutorials at http://www.stampinup.com/home/show-me-how are referenced throughout the catalog, to show different products in use.
2) This year’s RMHC stamp set (Tag It) is featured in the regular pages of the catalog, in addition to being mentioned inside the back cover.
1. The ribbon display on page 172…I love how you not only get to see each ribbon up close, but they’re all together, so it’s easy to see how the size and texture of one ribbon compares to another.
2. I like the new organization…how the categories are set up on page 6-7…so when you’re looking for, say, a vintage set, you know right where to go!
1. the ‘word’ stamps are sprinkled throughout so you can see set they look great with.
2. the accessories are mention various laces with the page number for more info. I like that.
1) Many more pictures and ways to show all of our colors!
2) The introduction pages for each section – really pinpoint everything that you will see as you flip through the various sections.
And, 3) they are popping the samples out more thank in the past catalogs….from my perspective anyway!
Thank you!!!
1) there are technique tutorials throughout
2) seem to be a lot more examples of projects through out
These two things make this more IDEA book and less catalog– love it!
