My Stampin’ monthly subscription to My Paper Pumpkin arrived today. This is the first month for everyone and we all received the same welcome kit. In the coming months the welcome kit is what anyone new joining will receive. The Paper Pumpkin welcome kit is designed to make 4 cards but I want you are not obligated to make what the kit is designed to do. That’s what creativity is all about. yes you can simply assembled the precut, prescored, preplanned, prepared supplies quickly and easily and be ready to make someone smile or you can verve right off the path as I did and find something else to do with the supplies.

For my Paper Pumpkin Smashbook I used the included supplies, the packing material, the instructions and the welcome note.
To Make your own mini Paper Pumpkin Smashbook – Gather a hole punch, assorted small punches, adhesive, scissors and two loose leaf rings (or simply tie book together with ribbon). I use a framelit to die cut flowers from the tissue papar, use the self adhesive die cuts as well as the negatives left on the sheet after I pulled them off. I punched words and shapes from the cute welcome note and used the heavy chipboard that packages and protects the contents as the covers of my Smashbook.
