Saw this cute idea in a recent catalog I received in the mail and had to copy it with SU product and of course make it cuter. Homemade is more fun than store bought. More satisfaction, a touch of love and cost savings to boot!
To make – cut a 1 inch x 12 inch piece of cardstock/designer paper. Score at 1/2 “, then 1 inch marks – you will be left with another 1/2 inch piece at the end. Punch a hole with punch a hole with punch that allows pencil to slide through. I chose the 1 3/8 size circle punch for the head, wiggly eyes, the tulipe die for antenna, small heart punch for accents, and the white gel pen for nose and smile. This is an easy project to enjoy with your kids and a perfect valentine treat where candy might not be a good idea.
