Jar of Hope & Happy Happenings.

A few years ago I came across this on pinterest and had it saved in a folder. I didn’t act on it then but decided when I rediscovered it while cleaning out folders (New Year’s resolution). That is was time to put this great idea into action.

I love the idea of focusing on the positives, big and small. I think that is where hope comes from along with faith, remembering the good, the positive that sometimes get overshadowed by the chalellenges, hurts, disappointments.

So here is my Jar of Hope.

I chose to combine a few products symbolically.  The rainbow, the cross and the word hope.  My faith tells me that God  gave us the rainbow as a sign of his covenant and the cross reminds me that his Son died and rose again for me – all reasons to have hope.

I am blessed that I have already had an opportunity here on day 12 of the new year to add some sweet positives to the jar.

If you decide to do something similar I would love to see how you decorate your jar.

(For my rainbow I used real red, pumpkin pie, crushed curry, lemon lime twist, bermuda bay,. dapper denim and rich razzleberry).
