We held our 15th Stamp, Scrap and Craft retreat this past month and it was everything our retreats are known for – great food, crafting around the clock, lots of ideas, fun, new friends, reunions with old friends and access to pretty much everything in the Stampin’ UP! catalog to use on site.

Yes our crafters enjoy using almost every Stamp in the Stampin’ UP! catalog (most current ones at the time of the retreat), all the punches, al the framelits and thinlits, ink pads, basic tools and so much more. It allows them to travel lighter and makes it possible for guests like Carol and Jenni who flew in from Florida.

Part of the fun comes from our event themes. There is nothing like a fun theme party to set the mood. For this retreat we chose a Super Crafter (aka Superhero) theme.

Thanks to uber talented Linda Nagle, Deb Lehigh and Melissa Bolinger the tables sported awesome DIY centerpieces and more.

enjoy the fun of our Superhero themed retreat and then check out details of our Crafters Paradise retreat to be held this October.

Our retreats are open to anyone and everyone. With a no solicitation policy the focus of the retreat is creating – creating memories, friendships and great projects.

Amazing what you can do with empty boxes, cardstock, scissors, punches and a little imagination.

A few circles and a star and voila – Captain America Tags. The water bottle capes were a simple free hand pattern Missy drew and how sweet of Hershey to wrap their chocolates in colors to match our decor.

L
inda created hundreds of punch art super heroes to use as name tags, embellishments and more. We had our guest share their Super Hero powers with us.

N
ot all decor was DIY – a few of the items were courtesy Amazon and Oriental Trading providing fun photo ops.

Even the hotel got into our theme with fun table cloths, fun menus and their usual amazing food.

The creativity flowed. I love how everyone leaves their projects out and so willing shares ideas.

Look aty all those stamps waiting to be used!
