We had our semi-annual RemARKable Hot retreat this past weekend and the hot project was Curly paper wreaths.  Here are some amazing takes on these project to inspire.

For directions you can view this video HERE

TIPS

1. Number of sheets of Designer paper will vary with size wreath you use and how full you use it. I used a little less than 6 sheets of 12×12 Dsp cut in 1/2″ strips for a 10″ wreath
2. Varying the size of your strips adds a fun variation
3. Straw wreaths, foam wreaths and styrofoam were all used in the samples you see
4. Think outside the box – I love the wreaths in the collages that are just 1/2 or 3/4
5. Use hot glue to add additional elements like banners, die cut shapes, etc.
6. Keep a band-aid handy for the inevitable paper cut that may happen as you curl a few dozen paper strips.
