Our RemARKable Team Event this past Saturday and this coming Saturday are themed “Mix & Mingle a Little Holiday Jingle” so I made these fun gifts for door prizes. All feature our Jingle All the Way Decor Elements and striped grosgrain ribbon. White mugs courtesy local dollar store. And peppermint candy hershey kisses are calorie free when you wrap them like this and can’t get at them. I love those things – between those and the Andes Peppermint bark – they just make my holiday.

I decided to update Craft World (formerly known as Stamp World) for spring. I purchases yards of material to create my own table clothes, added victorian lace to tea towels, made new placecards with Chalkboard decor that clip on flower pot treat holders (always filled with chocolate!) and a new Bling Bar Banner.
Stop by to see the softer side of Spring, enjoy the Bling Bar and taste some great chocolate. I recently returned with some wonderful truffles from Seattle! Upcoming events include the May 7th CROP & CRAFT, American Idol Craft Nights, FREE MDS (My Digital Studio) Introductory Lesson and Spring Card Classes. Click on the links or check your inbox for a complete schedule.

I always sew loops into the lace trim on the doilies and add clips to hang the collapsible trashcans we were able to purchase at convention last year.

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW? With Decor Elements Vinyl Flowers

Our entry hallway is a little narrow and is always getting scuffed. So in an attempt to “hide” the marks and keep from having to repaint every few months I decided to plant a Decor vinyl Garden. I mixed and matched various sizes and flowers along my wall. I still have a few feet to go but it’s growing. I love it – no weeding and even my husband who is a huge “white” wall fan likes this. Money well spent!

Many of you may have figured out by now that I a love to cut our Home Decor apart and use just pieces of it. Cutting it apart expands it’s creative potential. Here I used words from Live Every moment, our past holiday home decor set and a few retired rub-on’s on the lamps I added to my “summer office”. Was thinking these lamps would be awesome for an outside wedding, garden party … hmmm at less t han $3 each I am off to stock up on a few more. (Lamps purchased Christmas Tree Shoppes).

Sticky Cuts Glitter ornaments

I wanted an unusual place setting gift for an upcoming event. After spending time at the local craft store and getting inspired by all the ornaments I settled on a handmade ornament.
I used our sticky cut 12×12 pages to die cut Big Shot Decorative Strip Dies Swirly, Big Shot Bigz Dies – Tulipe, Decorative Accents, and Decorative Accents #2. I also used Stampin’UP!’s Decorative Vinyl Sheets to cut the guests initial. Apply initials first to ornament, then rub ornament with embossing buddy or swifter cloth, then add sticky cut images, remove backing from sticky cuts, add glitter! Fill with candy treats (size of ornament opening will determine treats – I chose yogurt covered raisins, dark chocolate covered coffee beans and brown M&M’s). Tie ribbon on and hang from tree or ornament holder as pictured.

THANKS – Home Decor Vinyl Jar Wraps

Finished “recycling” my Halloween Jars – To keep costs from adding up when using vinyl Home Decor elements on accessories such as jars I have been creating jar wraps using acetate, designer paper and or ribbon. I used Stampin’ UP!’s Decor Elements Sheets and our Big Shot ALphabets to die cut my letters – the fit perfectly inside the Bigz Clear Circle Die.
Here are the before of the Jars -

Here is the after

By creating “wraps” they are easily removed and the jars underneath are left w/o adhesive marks and are easily reused for the next holiday or project. This time it worked out perfect that I had 6 jars – just enough to spell THANKS!
Jars are refilled with treats – stop by the kitchen island on your way down to Stamp World and grab a handful.
Supplies Used include – Autumn Meadows Designer Paper, Chocolate Decor Elements Sheets, Medium Weight Window Sheets, Bigz Clear Cirle Die, Big Shot Sizzix Original Leaves #2 Die, Big Shot Sizzix Circles #2 Die, circle punch, Not Quite Navy Cardstock, Really Rust Cardstock, More Mustard Cardstock, Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button, Wide Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Linen Thread, Vanilla Hodgepodge
