Attitude of Gratitude – Lollie Thanksgiving Tree Decorations

I love being able to look around my home and see fun little things created by hand. It’s such a personal touch along with a sense of accomplishment. I have this really cool wrought iron tree I found on clearance a few years ago – it’s been an easter tree, a halloween tree, a Christmas tree and today I decided to add a swap of fall leaves and handmade lollies or rosettes to it to finish off my fall holiday decor.  Despire our freaky October snow storm I am determined to preserve fall a little longer and keep Winter at bay at least for a few more weeks!

I am loving our new Simply Scored tool and how it makes projects like this so much easier.

THANKS – Home Decor Vinyl Jar Wraps

Finished “recycling” my Halloween Jars – To keep costs from adding up when using vinyl Home Decor elements on accessories such as jars I have been creating  jar wraps using acetate, designer paper and or ribbon.  I used Stampin’ UP!’s Decor Elements Sheets and our Big Shot ALphabets to die cut my letters – the fit perfectly inside the Bigz Clear Circle Die.

Here are the before of the Jars -
Halloween Jar Wraps
Here is the after
JARTHANKS1

By creating “wraps” they are easily removed and the jars underneath are left w/o adhesive marks and are easily reused for the next holiday or project. This time it worked out perfect that I had 6 jars – just enough to spell THANKS!

Jars are refilled with treats – stop by the kitchen island on your way down to Stamp World and grab a handful.

Supplies Used include – Autumn Meadows Designer Paper, Chocolate Decor Elements Sheets, Medium Weight Window Sheets, Bigz Clear Cirle Die, Big Shot Sizzix Original Leaves #2 Die, Big Shot Sizzix Circles #2 Die, circle punch, Not Quite Navy Cardstock, Really Rust Cardstock, More Mustard Cardstock, Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button, Wide Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Linen Thread, Vanilla Hodgepodge
