A new Stampin’ Event means time to create new inserts to wear. It’s fun to create inserts that coordinate with your outfits and showcase great art at the same time. Here are 5 I created. 2 were completed in seconds because they use the new Belle Chateau side notes. Any guess on some of favorite my new product so far??

Many of you know that I have soft spot for our service members. My husband and I both served (Army Nurse Corps, Navy Submarines) I grew up as the child of a career Army Solider and we have many more family members who served for various branches. What a blessing to enjoy life in America and as an American.
In Honor of Memorial Day and the Soldiers who have served and currently serve I created this fun piece of MDS art in My Digital Studio. You can download a FREE PDF Memorial Day Art Download – enjoy and Thank a Solider today.
I Framed an 8.5 version of this but also created some smaller pieces customized with the names of the husbands of my friends Kimberly, Sherry and Megan for them to wear in Simply Adorned lockets.
Supplies – MDS Digital Downloads – Ribbon Of Hope, Assorted Cardstock Colors, Punch, Silver Brad, Medium Jewelry Tag, 1.5×2 Simply Adorned, 24″ simply adorned chain, frame

The local Parish Center here in Spring Grove always has the most amazing quotes on their billboard and this week it says “If I could just get going I would be Unstoppable”. I love that and used MDS to create a desktop motivational piece. Julie Mannino a RemARKable Stamper from Michigan was here this past weekend visiting and taught us this modified version of a Stair Step Card she came up with using a 7×11 piece of cardstock. It’s the perfect size for Desk art.
Supplies – MDS, Tickets and Tockets Downloads, Nursery Alphabet Images Stamp Brushes, Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, Wide EarlyEspresso Striped Grosgrain, Vanilla Brad

I of course had to add the Artwork to my growing collection of Simply Adorned Word Art Inserts:

I love quotes and word art so I decided to create some new inserts for my upcoming trip. In addition to sharing the inserts I want to share a tip that works at least on my computer.
I always start with an 8.5 x 11 page and use that to create my image on. Why? Because after I share it to jpeg I know have options with my Epson printer. When I click on my the image and then right click and tell it to print with my Epson I get a screen like this:

Since I started with 8.5 x 11 I can easily print any of the sizes offered without distortion. In addition one of the choices from the menu on the right is something called a contact sheet. I am able to print out the images perfectly sized for our 1 1/4″ x 1″ charms. This size is also easily built up for the larger charms (the 1.5×2) which are my favorite.

Here are 5 of the designs – Saturday I will post 6 more. All images are MDS features and the cardstock is Stampin’ UP!. The simply adorned charms make great graduation gifts or let me spoil myself gift. Why not order a few today – click on my Shop now button and start spoiling yourself in minutes.
Coffee Break – I added a little tulle I had laying on my table to this one

Eye Chart -

Discover potential

Queen for a day – I added a little glass glitter to bling it up more

Dare to Be RemARKable

Stampin’ UP! Monogram Simply Adorned Charm Gifts

Off to spend 5 days in Wichita with my daughter Kristin over her fall break. What better gift to take her and her friends then handmade monogrammed Simply Adorned Charms. The best part of these charms is that they open and the girls can choose to change my insert with something more personal, a photo, etc. I chose the red and the word ”friends” because Kristin is a student at Friends University and one of their colors is a shade of red. Too fun. Kristin and I will need to find a fun “hip” chain to hang them from, I think we can handle some shopping time. Hope the girls like them.
