Sew Much Fun with Stampin’ UP! Fabric – Over 100 Ideas from Convention 2011.
I love crafting. It does my heart good to see us expanding more and more into crafting. The best part of fabric is that you don’t need to sew. It’s amazing what you can do with hot glue, tacky glue and heat n’bond! I don’t like to iron but sure don’t mind to in my craft room! These ideas all feature Stampin’ UP! fabric, current and upcoming!.
So What can you do with Fabric – laynards, coasters, trivets, tags, busy blocks, aprons, wreaths, headbands, sachets, padded hangers, quilts, christmas ornaments, cards, bows, skirts, tops, towels, banners, napkin rings, albums, baskets ties, rings, hats , flowers, brooches, appliques, stockings, bonnets, stuffed animals, wallet, memo board, frames, bracelets, yo-yo’s ….

As someone who loves to crafts – card making is fine but I really got into Stampin’UP! because I love being crafty and having home made things around me. Unfortunately we didn’t always have the best selection for crafting but now I can indulge my love of crafting with our decor elements, big shot, craft spots and now FABRIC. How exciting.
Here are some teasers featuring fabric I will be able to preorder on August 1st as a demonstrator. This will give me a whole month to get ready to share fun projects with you and your friends. I am currently looking for fabric crafters who would love to gather here at Stamp World or host a fun event with their fabric crafting friends – all levels of fabric crafters – quilters and more will love the Big shot as well as combining our full line of ribbons, embellishments and now fabric with your projects. Contact me today – info@remarkablestampers.com to plan having me as a guest presenter at a guild or club event, to schedule a party at stamp world or to host your friends for a fun night out in the comfort of your own home.
Fabric Projects featured at Stampin’ UP! Convention 2010 - click on any image to enlarge – all fabric projects feature new fabric debuting September 1 as well as SU ribbons and embellishements.

and finally – got Scraps?? Why not put them to use on cards. While I did not get into SU to make cards I have discovered that card making is just another form of crafting and it brings just as much joy and satisfaction. I have also learned that when I combine my joys – jewerly making, crafting, fabrics, stamps, scraps – my supplies really get a workout and I use them more and they have greater value to me.

Mixing Fabric & Stampin’ UP! – fat quarter storage

I love looking at fabric as much as I love looking at designer papers. There is just a ton of inspiration in the patterns, colors, textures and more. However it can be overwhelming – whoever invented fat quarters should win a Nobel Peace prize. For someone who either bought way too much fabric in the past because when you cut a piece off a bolt it looked like a small piece or didn’t cut any at all because walking the rows and rows of bolts was overwhelming- fat quarters are the perfect answer.
For crafters – these little quarters are perfect for your table runners, small bags, banners, doilies, and more.
Our Forget Me Not Keepers offer the perfect storage for your fat quarters… These sturdy yet collapsible when not in use containers include 12 tabbed dividers and measure 8 5/8 x 6 5/8 x 5. Add a few to your next order. At $11.95 they are perfect.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A STAMPIN” UP! Demonstrator when you stroll the fabric aisles armed with your catalog, ribbon and cardstock swatches, felt pieces and such looking for patterns that mimic our look, or are bashful blue, old olive, soft suede, crushed curry, night of navy – you get the picture. You can spot us a mile away in the fabric aisles. If you see us stop and say hi.
Ready for projects.. hmmm – what is JAN UP TO??
