I saw these in a craft magazine and just had to make them: His & Her Onsies! Are these not the cutest thing? And way too easy using Stampin’ UP! Ribbon. The flower is actually on a pin back so it can be removed for washing. The Perfect use of Stampin’ UP! Ribbon for creating inexpensive but ONE OF KIND Baby Gifts.
Stop by any American Idol Craft Night or our Crop for a quick lesson in how to make these His & Her Onsies. We will also feature the Rolled Fabric Pin as a make n’take at our upcoming retreat – we still have 1,2 day spots available due to a few cancellations. Want to craft non stop for 3 days? Ask me about our RHR – RemARKable Hot Retreat - info@remarkablestampers.com

Stampin’ UP! Meets Home Decor

One of my favorite displays at our annual Stampin’ UP! Conventions are the mini rooms they create right before our eyes over the 3 days. These room show case our product on walls, lamps, and so much more. Our Home Decor Elements Line is a great resource for home decor as is our stencils. But check out the cute lamp to see our ribbons and buttons in use and of course our new fabric is featured in curtains, fabric ornaments and more.
Red Kitchen – I have been meaning to return to red in my kitchen – when I first got married all my kitchen items were red – ala german/scandanavian feel. This might just be the push I needed. The checks are actually squares of our real red vinyl decor. The curtains are made from one of our soon to be released fabric packs as is the bib, tree skirt and decorations on the silver tinsel tree.
Blue Room – this room features a full wall stenciled with our stencils, a great touch with just a single stencil peaking out behind the mirror, the darling lamp I was telling you about (just bought 2 lampshades this week to duplicate this ) and a great stenciled memo board with paper & ribbon bow.

Mustard Room – this room features Decor Elements on the wall and some of our great new chalkboard organaizers – to do list, calendars, menu’s and more. Love the little touches like the tags on the baskets under the bench featuring newsprint DSP and our chalkboard labels.

Vintage Christmas – I love the way stencils are used to create a “frame for a frame” in this room completed with decorated tree and stenciled packages.Ornaments on the three feature our soon to be released fabric, big shot snowflakes covered with soon to be released glass glitter, and more if you look closely.

These new sheets of Basic Rhinestones and Pearls are so fun - but one tip – if you do not have a small pair of tweezers (preferably the kind used for jewerly making) or at least a few toothpicks at your crafting table you will find these a much welcomed tool to remove and place the rhinestones/pearls exactly where you want them.

Those who know me – know that after working as an RN for 17years night shift and originally being from Seattle coffee is my main stay. Just black and nothing too strong. Because of this another MUST HAVE First buy for me was the new set called Morning Cup in our 2010/2011 Stampin’ UP! catalog. This darling little set and coordinating wheel gave me an excuse to “perk” up my color palette for today’s 2 samples.
VITAMIN COFFEE – Features Morning Cup stamp set, In Colors Designer Paper Stack, Crumb Cake Cardstock, White Cardstock, Pearch Parfait Polytwill ribbon, marina mist narrow taffeta, markers, aquapainter, scallop oval punch, oval punch.

PERK UP – Morning Cup Stamp Set, Sahara Sand Cardstock, Neutrals Designer Paper Stack, Pear Pizzaz cardstock, cherry cobbler cardstock, circle punch, NEW scallop square punch, square punch AND cherry cobber flower brad (PS STAMPIN” UP! – I think having the brads in just 24 colors is a tease – now that I have had a chance to use them – all 40 colors would be nice!!!) Pear Pizzaz Poly Twill Ribbon.
