We are in the middle of our 4th semi-annual RemARKably Hot Retreat. Those attending were given the chance to earn 50% registration at our next retreat (Oectober 21, 22, 23, 2011) by picking a city and bringing it to life. You saw the Eiffel Tower made from Stampin’ UP!s Big Shot Lattice Die HERE now we bring you Rome. RemARKables Maria Pane, Lisa Chatterjee, Jill Hilliard, Sandi Haertig and Cindy Geskey brought us a lyrical moment and really fun table decorations today. They even created their own “orders”. Mother Theresa of paper Culcutter, Sister Jill of the Stampers Unlimited Order, Pope Christian Crystal Effects XII, I can only now begin to imagine what our parade of Cities will hold as we head to dinner tonight. Stay tuned for a windmall, Oz, flamingos and more. These girls are “IN IT TO WIN IT” as Randy Jackson would say.

Our 4th Semi – Annual Retreat has a theme of “Hot City Nights” – last April we did the Oscars. This year we challenged the attendees to decorate their tables based on a city somewhere in the world – wait till you see them all.. Las Vegas, The Emerald City, Amsterdam, Athens, Rome, Nassu, New Orleans and more. Here is a sampling of more photos to come. If you are one of my customers I have a place reservered for you at our 5th Semi- Annual Retreat – October 21,22,23 – details will mail next week.

Stampin’ Up! In Color Centerpieces

Created these fun centerpieces for our RemARKable Team Gathering this past weekend. Our January team event was themed Color My World and this meeting was themed Birds of a Feather (I love a good theme party). So since our January meeting was cancelled I marriaged the two together. Each table was a monochromatic version of one of the incolors – a small “party favor” from Leadership for each person, table cloths, centerpiece, candy, Easter eggs, name tags and we added the birds in with these birdcages filled with in color goodies. The Best part – 12 lucky demonstrators present won them and one of our long distance participants won one.
Our Demonstrator Event is open to the public and all demonstrators – our next event is May 14th in SPRING GROVE, PA - if you are interested in learning more about these events join my MAILING LIST to the right.

RemARKable November Team Gathering

Another fun day of creativity, friendship and business tips. In keeping with our cooking theme I displayed samples of the make n’takes on each table with a cookie sheet

Several created aprons for the day and I added a fun touch to a chef’s hat that was way too big.

We enjoyed a great presentation by Kathy Winland on Soot Stamping, How to tie bows using a Fork by Connie Diebler and a great demo by Kathy Johnson on Stained Glass window technique. Deb Lehigh did a great display with Got Treats, Linda Nagle wowed us with fabric based projects, Missy make good use of waffle paper with her display, and Diane Kanode provided sweet ideas for Valentines. We created 6 make n’takes featuring Candy Cane DSP to keep and 1 holiday card we personalized with our own message that I wil deliver to a local shelter for the holidays. The creativity and business chats were fueled by yogurt, assorted breads and lots of chocolate. We brainstormed crazy business slogans, recognized our top sales, top recruiting, bright ideas, and heart award winners. We swapped, gave away lots of door prizes, voted for our favorite swap and took lots of pictures of the show n’ share projects brought by all attendees. Each attendee received a little whisk with tag it and several had adorable embellished kitchen utensils to show off. It was truly Another RemARKable Event indeed!
Our events are open to all demonstrators and to guests of the RemARKable Stampers. Our next event is January 22nd, 2011, in Spring Grove, PA. Hope you join us for a great day!
