Stampin’ UP! Gnome Sweet Gnome – Gnomenclature

These poor fun gnomes aren’t seeming to get much play time. There are mixed reactions to them, but I love them and RemARKable Robin Merriman over at Trinity Desgins knows that and sent me an amazing present this past week. Not only a hand stamped Robin creation with her own hand written “gnomenclature” but an adorable set of Gnome Salt & Pepper shakers.
I am thinking that the gnomes may just have to travel with me and appear in photos. RemARKable Susan has a small Queen Elizabeth she travels with and the Queen has amazing photo adventures and her own travel log – we even managed to get photos of her planking and batmanning!!!. I have been looking for my own small figurine so far considering bobble heads of the following – Einstein, Polamalu and even a German Shorthai but these gnomes may just fit the bill. I am sure that’s not what Robin expected but we will have to see.

These two new products work so well together. I love tea and coffee so I was easily hooked by our new Tea Shoppe Set and I love old doily’s and lace so again I was easily hooked!
If you frequent other sites that feature Stampin’ UP! artwork or discussions you may have seen conversation around our Doily Sizzlit. I wanted to share some tips as I have personally not experienced any challenges with this die.

Why limit Crops to just scrapbooking?? Everyone needs a chance to escape for a few hours and to enjoy time dedicated to creatively expressing yourself in your chosen hobby – whether you love to scrapbook, paper craft, rubber stamp, or digitally create you will have more fun when you enjoy your hobby with others who “get it”, when you enjoy your hobby with no interruptions, when you enjoy your hobby within the walls of a fully stocked craft studio, when you enjoy your hobby knowing someone else is going to cook you a meal and someone else is going to clean up after you!

Today’s My Digital Studio Monday tutorial will show you how to create 4 card fronts on one page incorporating a screen capture or lasso tool. I created these card fronts for my daughter to use as thank you notes for recent graduation gifts. As I state in the tutorial one of the things I like about MDS (my Digital studio) is that there are many ways to accomplish the same end point. It comes down to what works for you.

This will be the perfect thing to have in your emergency “I NEED A GIFT” stash! It will be the perfect gift for a young college student, those who say they aren’t creative, those who like to create but have limited space or supplies.
Hopefully Stampin’ UP! won’t unveil too many of these because truly you don’t me to assemble!
Kit includes everything including really cool printed envelopes and a box with the VELCRO tab – the only thing not included is Time. But assembling all of these will take you less than 20 minutes. Those purchasing this kit in the new year from me will receive pictures of how I assembled mine for even more time saving!
Only a few more weeks – Don’t let the excitement of the new mini keep you from missing out on the things you want from the current mini. Remember many of those items will not be available after January 3rd and we never know what will or won’t make the cut next year for the 2012/2013 Big Book!
