So this month the Stampers Dozen crew are “two-stampin” not to be confused with Two-Steppin’ a type of dance.
What is Two Step – stamping? It is a style of stamping where specifically designed stamps layer together to form a completed image. Some stamps layer on top of each other and others are two pieces that when used together compete the image such the globe and stand I used for my project. In addition I think we can stretch the definition to include our many “two-step” products that we have such as stamp sets that coordinate with punches or framelits. Step 1 stamp the image, Step 2 punch or die cut.
I love the ease of using stamps that layer and work together for a beautiful finished piece.
My card today is actually my husband’s birthday card. His birthday is Sunday so shhh… I paired the two step globe from Places you will go with a greeting I thought was perfect from Flourishing Phrases. Card is embossed with our hot, hot, hot new copper powder and element is added to our realistic looking Serene Scenery designer paper. Inside the cards reads “he made you. Happy birthday”.
Now hop on over to Kristin Kortonick’s blog to see what fun she had Two-stampin’
