This coming Monday I will not only celebrate one of my favorite holidays but my 29th wedding anniversary. Yes I was married on the 4th of July but sadly did not have a patriotic wedding despite marrying my Navy man and being an Army nurse at the time. If I had a do over it would definitely be a patriotic affair. Instead I chose a totally 80’s peachy color influenced by a Gerber daisy my husband had given me and these beautiful day lilies that bloom this time of year in Pennsylvania.
