I am so in love with this new set Birthday Blooms debuting in the new Spring 2016 Stampin’ Up! catalog. Actually it’s just one of my new loves – there is so much to love and I’m so glad I got to order it early to play with it.
I was inspired to revisit an old technique to show off this new stamp. I love that tried and true colors, techniques can be revisited and refreshed by pairing them with a new stamp.

For supplies you need an aquapainter – I have a set designated for bleach and anything NOT water I might think to put in them, household bleach and  embossed image.

Tips

a. Rinse the aquapainter out after use – don’t store bleach in it
b. test your cardstock color first  – different pigments react differently
c. Start light, you can always add more bleach
d. let dry before layering or adding additional embellishments
e. use in well ventilated area especially if doing many of them at once
