Here is your first TIP! Using Reinkers with your Stampin’ Spritz
*BTW I have had a lot of requests for the source of this cool holder – I will be posting all the details next Tuesday when I post the first winner.
Remember you can win a great holder and 6 Stampin’ Spritzers – see details HERE
Spritzing with REINKERS
1. There are no “rules” for x # of drops per x ounces of water – it’s all about taste and experimentation
2. Add drops slowly and test for the desired shade – it’s easier to add more than to start with too much
3. Darker colors will use less drops
4. I start with my spritzer 3/4 full.
5. You can fill with rubbing alcohol or water – higher concentration of rubbing alcohol = faster drying times
6. OPTIONAL – you can add shimmer paint to the Stampin’ Spritz for a shimmery reinker effect. I prefer to spray one more layer of just shimmer mist after keeping my reinker “pure” for other uses when I may not want the shimmer effect.
7. You can set your cardstock aside to dry or if impatient you can iron it.
TIP FOR Stampin’ UP!’s Stampin’ Spritzers
*These Spritzers are powerful the provide coverage over a larger area than the mini misters on the market. The further you hold the Spritzer from the paper the finer the spray mist.
SO WHAT DO I DO WITH THE SPRITZER NOW THAT I HAVE a REINKER MIX IN IT?
You use the Spritzer with Reinkers for:
1. Masking/Stencil
2. Color Wash
3. Coloring White Ribbon – yes spritz ribbons for fun effects
4. Fly Specking (adding that antiqued look you would normally do with a toothbrush and ink)
5. Spritzing Direct to solid image stamps before stamping onto cardstock (whisper white, water color, glossy are my faves)
HERE IS A SIDE BY SIDE Comparison of Stampin’UP!’s watercolor paper, whisper white and glossy all using the same Rich Razzleberry reinker.

JANET
Thank you for the awesome tips Janet!! I love the watercolor paper the best, but know I will use all types of card stock and even DSP!! I have already done this with my ribbon, and so much easier than soaking!
