Today while scanning pinterest for Disney ideas for the upcoming Stampin’ Up! incentive trip I saw an autograph book that used tags and the scrapbooker in me was immediately intrigued. I figured the tags could more easily be added to a scrapbook page as a embellishment. So I set off to find a way to create an autograph book and ended up with combination Disney Autograph and Memorabilia Book. I based it on the design of a basic flip book which I will show you first then modified some to fit my vision. I am excited to put it to use.

Basic Flip Book

MY BOOK – Supplies and Sizes/Basic Instructions at the End.
Supplies – Summer Smooches Designer paper, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, Daffodil Delight Cardstock, Basic Black Cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Basic Black Buttons, Neutral brads (White/Silver), small open ended whisper white envelopes, forest friends stamp set, basic black ink, snail adhesive, MDS for words, circle punches
Non SU Supplies – bulldog clip, needle for sewing, sharpie

My covers are reinforced with chipboard creating a surface firm enough to right on. The clip is sewn on and will hold tags that are stored in the inside pockets. I kept the outside embellishments to a minimum because I knew this book would be handled a lot which is also why there is no title yet. After Disney I can cut away the bulldog clip, add a big brad or bow there and add a title to the white strip shown.
*Tip – add embellishment to your top layer before assembling all layers!
sew any buttons for added security

The pockets are small opened ended whisper white Stampin’ UP! envelopes

In side pockets for memorabilia – I love smashed pennies they make inexpensive scrapbook embellishments!

To create a place for maps & brochures I stretched a piece of ribbon down the center securing it between the two pages. Now brochures and maps can easily slip under this.

SUPPLIES

2-4 Pieces of 4.5 x 11 pieces of cardstock
2 for traditional flip book – 4 if sandwiching chipboard between them for a hard front and back cover

You will score this every 1 inch on the long side
