I am a very visual person and I recently saw this weight loss idea on Pinterest. The concept was simple put marbles representing the weight you want to lose in one jar and simply move the marble to the next as you lose the weight.

Well being a creative person I couldn’t just have plain jars with a marker on them I had to dress mine up. In addition I like lots of positive reinforcement so I added enough marbles for my weight loss goal but not one marble per one pound – not for me – I did one marble per 1/4 pound hoping I would get to move a marble more often and thereby be more encouraged!

My master bathroom is done in greens and has a tropical flamingo theme and since the scale is in the bathroom I decorated my jars to fit into my bathroom.

I used My Digital Studio for the text on the tags and the flamingo, old olive textured cardstock, natural hemp, rhinestones from the Blossom Builders Kit and Self Adhesive Die Cuts from the Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin’ Kit.
