My Daugther the FYI

Both my kids are studying at small midwest schools. Kristin is studying at Friends University in Wichita, KS – one of only 2 schools in the nation to have a BS degree specifically in Zoo Science. She is double majoring in Zoo Science and Field Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In addition she has been blessed to be on scholarship for French Horn performance all 4 years of college.  Just like her brother she has been mentoring freshman. This will be Kristin’s 3rd year acting as an FYI -  First year intern.  For parents looking at college – I encourage you to ask what programs are in place to support freshman – get them up and out of their beds, get them up and engaged, get them supported academically.

I love how easy MDS pages can come together with imported (copy and pasted details)l This pictures, the school logo and the the journaling are all from the FRIENDS university webpage. Had I done this traditionally it would have meant a ton of extra printing or typing.
