Both my kids have always loved storms. Recently during a marathon family board game day we took a break to watch a big storm roll through from the safety of our porch.  I thought to grab my camera and I took these very “ordinary” pictures. But the emotions and thoughts they brought to my heart were anything but ordinary.  As I looked at these photos  two of my current favorite contemporary Christian songs came to mind – Michael W.Smith’s, Let it Rain, and Chris Tomlin’s, Let Your Mercy Rain. I chose the latter for journaling on this page. As a mother I am blessed to have two Christ centered young adults who have a close personal relationship with Christ. What a comfort that is. I hope that you have the same comfort in the storms of life.

In creating these pages I also renewed my love of the – the insert duplicate page button. I created the 2nd page in seconds – simply exchanging one child’s photo for the others and changing a name.  MDS makes is very possible to maintain a book for each child and of course when printing these pages I can simply order duplicates and have copies for my own albums as well. Wow. Now I really will have the time to make albums for each child! Thank you MDS!
