Happy Memorial Day – Patriotic Simply Adorned Charm & necklace

Happy Memorial day – although I am not sure happy is a great word to use. Today is a day of reflection, of honor, of graditude. Regardless of your feelings on war – you are allowed to have them because soldiers protect your rights and freedoms as an American.  Thank to all soldiers past, present and future. I love living in America and thank you for serving OUR country. Thank too to all the families who sacrifice so much to support those who protect and serve.

I made this necklace to wear for Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, Fourth of July and other patriotic events. It features the 1.5 x 2 inch simply adorned charm,simply adorned necklace that I embellished with charms that I added to lobster claw hooks to add to the chaim. Charm insert was created with the Stampin’ UP! stamp “COURAGE”, stazon black ink, kraft cardstock, ruby red cardstock, not quite navy cardstock and more mustard cardstock.

Enjoy the day today and pause for a moment of silence sometime today in rememberance of those who served but are no longer with us. GOD BLESS YOU!
